Can I rent a kilt?
You sure can. There are a couple of places to rent kilts in St. Andrews. Try Mackintosh's or Highland House. We recommend booking in advance
Are children welcome?
Children are welcome at the ceremony under supervision.
Later in the day there will be an easily accessible area with games and toys, with two nannies on hand to look after everybody. A separate 'wee ones' dinner will be served.
Children are of course welcome to join in the party after dinner!
What will I be walking on?
Air, hopefully. But mainly solid ground. There will also be grass and gravel to contend with
What will the weather be like?
It's September, so relatively mild. But it's Scotland, so wind and rain are a distinct possibility.
We hope to have much of the wedding outside. There will be a coatcheck
